Due to some people being uncomfortable with the term queer and how a lot of intersex people do not consider themselves to be part of the LGBT+ community, the abbreviation LGBT+ is used. No alterations are made in the resource names if they use abbreviations containing these words, however.
The term "Bi+" is used for anybody who identifies with any non-monosexual/romantic label (e.g. bi, pan, omni, etc.)

GLBT National Help Centre — One-to-One Peer Support Chat: Although this organization is based in the US and the featured phone numbers can only be reached by US or Canadian callers, the online support chat can be used by anyone who knows English. Here, you can anonymously discuss several issues such as coming out, gender and/or sexuality, relationship concerns, workplace issues, etc.
The Trevor Project: 24/7/365 Lifeline for LGBT+ youth at (866) 488-7386. Link provided gives access to a gateway to TrevorChat, their online instant messaging option, or TrevorText, a text-based support option.
